The AEA has partnered with Camp Adventure Child & Youth Services program to provide a truly American Summer Camp experience. Here is more information about our partner:
Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services is headquartered at the University of Northern Iowa. It has been operating youth recreation programs since 1985. Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services is an award-winning program that has been visited by the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, the Secretary of the Navy of the Unites States of America and has received recognition from the U.S. Army MWR headquarters in Washington, D.C. In addition, the program has been visited by U.S. Representative Pat Schroeder, U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, U.S. Senator Tom Harkin, and other dignitaries.
Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services currently provides camp programs and services for youth all across the world. The Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services staff of highly qualified individuals not only have excellent technical skills and the ability to lead youth and teens, but they also operate with integrity, creativity, commitment, pride and sensitivity. The program supports youth development, as well as fun, and is committed to quality and excellence.
The Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services counselors are college-age students from the University of Northern Iowa and other partner universities and colleges in the United States. The students receive college credit for participating. The Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services program prides itself on the combination of professionalism and genuine caring that each counselor brings to each child.
Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services is in the business of providing magic moments for children of Unites States personnel and others, world-wide. It provides an environment of magic and delight, joy and laughter, wonder and discovery, fellowship and friendship, learning and sharing, and pride and achievement.
